Oh yes! Just a 5kg of epoxy and a first layer is complete. And it didn't even need to mix any filler. The temperature was around +10C and the resin was quite viscous in its pure form. I'm tired to roll it out to surface.

Re: To grind or not to grind?
I know what you mean. Now you need to rest when that layer cures over night, so you are fit for the next one tomorrow. It's also not fun to put on masking tape for every new layer.
Keep up the good work!

Re: To grind or not to grind?
It was difficult, but I done it! That is all for the bottom. Now I need a little holiday.
I think, antifouling is not nessesary for cold waters, where I planning to sail this summer. There are grows only a bit of seagrass like a green snots, which are easily cleaned off with a brush on the long handle.

Of cource, the rudder is ready. And installed a new motor bracket. Now is only remaining to replace a cockpit valves before a launch. I afraid to broke (scuppers? seacocks?) on which its installed.Johan SWE-1870 skrev: ↑03 maj 2019 20:38 Well done! That looks good!

Oh yes, I did it! Even made a special wrench for holding a nipples during disassembling a valves. Installed a typical ball valves of leaded brass. And nothing was broken - the IF is ready for launch.
