Dear colleagues,
I want to install a triangular rigid plastic water tank under the berth into tho bow cabin. Can anybody recommend a type which fits there? Can, for example, some of Cipax type fit there (www.cipax.com)?
I used flexible water tank at this place, but it has shown not to be a good idea - the forces at raw sea are too big, the flexible tank can not withstand it.
Thank you David

Re: Water tank for IF
As long as you are sailing in the Baltic, Kattegatt and Skagerack, you will find plenty of freshwater in every small harbour. So my opinion is that it is enough with 10-20 litres of water on board. Even if you find you will need somewhat more, a couple of 10 l water containers will be easy to stow away anywhere.

Re: Water tank for IF
Hello Marek! No, no, this is not the case. I want to stay for periods of one week at some natural anchorages without visiting any harbor. The water installation with pump and sink is already installed in my boat. I only want to replace the flexible tank by a rigid one.

In Sweden you may buy smaller ones (down to 32 litres ) from for example http://www.hjertmans.se . Search for "vattentank" . There is a Hjertmans shop in Helsingborg.
